Prof. Wang has worked in State-holding 793 factory in 1987 after graduation, and was hired as Engineer in 1989. In 1994, Prof. Wang relocated to Changchun Technology University as lecturer, focusing on teaching. Since 2000 after merging with Jilin University, Prof. Wang worked in School of MechanicalScience and Engineering,Jilin University, and was promoted to Associate Professor at 2010.

Prof. Wang has specialized in the design and manufacturing of non-standard automotive production instrument for electronics industry, and took charge of more than 40 such of kind instruments development and manufacturing, and 10 of them were funded by national technological support plan, and military funds. Prof. Wang has taught “MechanicalReliabilityDesign”, “Engineering Materials and Thermal Treatment”, “Methodology of Mechanical Design”, “Methodology of Modern Design”, “Introduction to Metal Cutting Tool”, “Descriptive Geometry andMechanical Drawing”, and “Structure of TypicalMechatronic Products”. Prof. Wang has published five scientific articles, and written one textbook. Prof. Wang has also received the “outstanding graduation project tutor award”
