Course Introduction(Undergraduate Program):Mechanical Engineering Laboratory III(413331)

This is a synthetic experimental course including mechanisms and machines, electrotechnics, optics, pneumatic knowledge, application of CNC machining and advanced engineering software. It can develop students’ knowledge on mechanical systems, understand the methods in mechanism optimum design and master the ability for advanced engineering software and application of CNC machining.
Laboratory II is a synthetic experiment course which combines acknowledge of machinery, optics, fluidics and application of design, manufacture, inspection and advanced engineering software. The course focuses on training basic capabilities of mechanical design, grasping full processes of design, manufacture and inspection of mechanical components, understanding influence of components’ precision to mechanical performance. Students understand applications of advanced engineering software in mechanical design, and master the specifications of instruments to detect fluid-flow, temperature, vibration, noise and geometric error, and complete processing of gear wheel at the hobbing machine.
Status: it is a bond of relationship among the series of courses of mechanical basis.
Function: developing students synthetic ability and strengthening the students engineering design ability .
Aim: developing students’ synthetic ability including engineering design by advanced engineering software, application of CNC machining, experimental data processing. The whole course containing design, manufacture and test must be received by students as soon as possible. Meanwhile, gradually set up habit and ability by applying advanced technology and tools to resolve engineering actual problem.
Laboratory I: Comprehensive experimental HUIYU model
Laboratory II: Optimum design of linkage (simulated designable experiment by ADAMS software in computer)
Laboratory III 3:cam measuring, manufacturing, simulated synthetic experiment(synthetic experiment)
