On July 17th 2014,invited by Mechanical manufacturing and automation Institute, Prof David Rosen, Vice-president of Georgia Institute of Technology made a report theme of “High Viscosity Ink-Jet Printing and Stereolithography 3D Printing Research”.

David Rosen, vice-president of Georgia Institute of Technology, professor and the director of Institute of rapid prototyping, visiting professor of Loughborough university mechanical manufacturing engineering institute, a senior member of American society for mechanical engineering, subeditor of Journal of Computing and Information Science in Engineering. The main research direction is 3D printing, intelligent CAD/CAM/CAE, virtual manufacturing etc. David Rosen introduced research about 3D printing he did these years and focused on inkjet printing technology. Combined with the application on airplane design and other fields, through the lattice boltzmann, ECPL system raising process precision and motivate the 3D printing development.

Prof Rosen’s report was rich in detail which promoted teachers researching project in-depth and students improving their research level.Prof Rosen then had an academic seminar with the teachers and students after reports.
