Course Introduction：

Virtual Prototyping technology is very important in new product development, and it’s a main trend for manufacturing industry. It’s necessary to open this kind of course for cultivating talents of multi-body dynamics. From teaching and test links the students’ product development ability based on multi-body dynamics platform can be increased. This course is divided in two parts of theoretical study and test link. Dynamic simulation technique of mechanical system is introduced systematically in this course. From the mechanical and innovative design perspective, basic knowledge of entry and basic concepts of Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical System (ADAMS) software are introduced. The main function and operation skill of ADAMS  and other softwares are also presented. Virtual Prototyping technology is very important for the students to solve the problem of 3D design of mechanical system. So Virtual Prototyping technology is an important direction for science and engineering undergraduates.
