Zhang Fu, born in August 1965, is a native ofPanShicounty, Jilin province. In 1988, Zhang received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Process Equipment and Automation from the former Jilinuniversity of Technology where was appointed as a teacher in the same year. In 1994, Zhang received his on-the job Master of degreein Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation from Northeastern University. From March 2000 to December 2000, he went to Japan to study at the international cooperation agency. In 2007, he received his doctoral degree in ultra-precisionmachining from Jilin University. At present, he is an associate Professor, School of mechanical science and engineering, atJilin University.
