On December 24th 2015, at the invitation of our school, Yong Huang, the professor of Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, University of Florida, delivered a lecture, entitled “Three-Dimensional Bioprinting and Evaluation of Process-Induced Cell Injury”

Firstly, Professor Huang introduced the fundamental state of University of Florida, then He introduced the background, process flow and future development prospects of 3D printing technology. During his report, Professor Huang emphasized the process, technical key issues and the representative results that has been achieved of laser assisted biological 3D printing technology. Many aspects, such as the feasibility of laser assisted biological 3D printing technology, the model of cell damage during printing, the fluid mechanics problems and the final printing results of biological cell of Y type vascular, was explained and displayed in detail during the report.

After the lecture, Professor Huang communicated with teachers and students kindly, and patiently answered questions proposed by teachers and students.
